This interview details Tychon Packaging, a Packaging and Containers Manufacturing company based in Canada. The interview is with Kevin Kantati, President & CEO of Tychon Packaging.
I have almost a decade of experience servicing the agriculture industry in different capacities. Through the years, I’ve noticed a gap in the supply chain when it came to packaging. In speaking to other professionals, I noticed this need for unique and high-quality packaging at affordable prices spanned across many industries. This inspired me to develop my own packaging company, Tychon Packaging Inc. I started as a one-man show and have since invented several patented products and expanded my small but mighty team.
Our biggest challenge is always keeping our pricing competitive. We have invested in high-quality tooling for long-term savings. Storage space for materials is always going to be a challenge in the agriculture industry, as land becomes less and less available. We have recently acquired approximately 80 thousand square feet of warehousing space for stock-and-release programs to serve our customers better.
What separates Tychon Packaging from other suppliers is our innovative packaging designs, our superior customer service, and our competitive prices. We have broke the mould of traditional packaging designs to create more modern and cohesive packaging that not only is more aesthetically pleasing but also aids in ease of labeling and ensures consistency in the quality of our product. We are continuously applauded by our customers for our expert knowledge and quick response times. Like I said before, we are a small but mighty team, when you call we answer. This also helps keep our costs down, passing the savings on to our customers.
We currently have almost 80,000 sq ft of warehouse space to service our customers with our stock and release programs. When it comes to production we have all the right partnerships that can push out products very fast without compromising quality.
Our future goal is to be the number one packaging supplier for the agriculture industry. We are continuously investing into infrastructure and innovative technology to ensure the continued and future success of Tychon. We also have a goal to transition all of our current and future customers to fully recyclable products and materials.
