What is the origin story of Plant Factory?

Halil Beşkardeşler, Anıl Sönmez, and Emre Kaynar met and came together through the water polo national team. We established our main company, Dragos Import Company. Ahmet Güney joined the team as the last partner.

The story of the establishment of the Plant Factory stems from our desire to be food manufacturers. Considering that the food industry is an area that will never end and its value in today's conditions, we decided to invest in this sector. We followed the companies that do vertical farming indoors. As a result of long-term research on this subject, we visited facilities abroad. Later, the birth of the Plant Factory took place with R&D and then P&D studies.

In the future, we will start the production of vegetables and fruits such as tomatoes and strawberries, as well as medicinal and aromatic plants such as hops, stevia, saffron, and hemp, which are frequently used in sectors such as health, cosmetics, agriculture, and food.

Apart from product manufacturing, we also produce systems. The fact that it is in a closed area is sufficient for installing the system. When any installation is made, you become a part of the Plant Factory with our technical and engineering services.
